Coverage & Cost

Yes. If you have TennCare and no way to get to a covered medical appointment, transportation is a free benefit. These rides are scheduled through your health plan's transportation line, not directly with us, and need to be booked at least two business days before your appointment. When you call, you can ask for your trips to be assigned to Reese Transport. If you are not sure who to call, the number is on the back of your TennCare card, or contact us and we will point you in the right direction.

Original Medicare generally does not cover routine rides to medical appointments. However, many Medicare Advantage plans include a transportation benefit with a set number of trips per year. Check your plan documents or call your plan to ask. If your plan does not cover transportation, you can always book with us directly as a private pay rider with simple, upfront pricing.

Pricing depends on the distance of your trip. Contact us with your pickup and drop off addresses and we will give you a clear, upfront quote with no surprises. You can also request a quote directly through our website.

Individual riders can pay with cash, Cash App, or card (card payments include a small processing fee). Facilities and brokers can pay by check, direct invoice, or card with a processing fee.

Yes. While TennCare covered rides are limited to medical appointments, private pay riders can book us for the pharmacy, the grocery store, family visits, or anywhere else you need to go. Many of our riders use us for errands between appointments.

Booking a Ride

We ask for at least 48 hours notice so we can guarantee your spot on the schedule. If you have a last minute need, call us anyway. We will do our best to fit you in if we have availability.

Call or text us at (931) 639 8394, or request a quote through the form on our website. We will confirm your pickup time, addresses, and any special needs before your trip.

Have the rider's name and phone number, the pickup address, the name and address of the appointment, the appointment time, and any mobility needs or equipment you will bring. If a caregiver is riding along or you need an extra stop like the pharmacy, mention that too so we can plan for it.

No problem. Most of our return trips work exactly this way. Just call us when you are finished and we will head your way to pick you up. This is called a will call return, and it is our specialty. One thing to keep in mind: since our drivers cover trips all over Middle Tennessee, your return pickup may take a little longer depending on where we are when you call. We will always give you an honest estimate so you know what to expect.

Yes. If you have a standing appointment, we can set up a recurring schedule so you never have to worry about booking each trip individually. This is one of the most common ways our riders use our service.

Yes. We know discharges rarely come with 48 hours notice. Call us as soon as you or the discharge planner knows a ride is needed and we will do everything we can to get there quickly based on availability. Facilities can also call us directly to arrange discharge transportation for their patients.

For individual riders, there is no cancellation fee. We simply ask that you call or text us before the driver heads your way. For facilities and brokers, cancellation and no show terms are agreed on in writing as part of our partnership terms.

The Ride Itself

No. We are non emergency transportation for stable riders going to scheduled appointments. Our drivers assist with getting in and out of the vehicle, but they do not provide medical treatment during the ride. If you or your loved one is experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 immediately.

Yes, one companion or caregiver may ride along at no extra charge, as long as we know ahead of time so we can plan seating. Just mention it when you book.

Our drivers provide friendly, courteous door to door service and will assist you in and out of the vehicle. Riders who can walk enter or exit the vehicle with minimal assistance, and we carry a step stool to make things easier. Riders who stay in their wheelchair are welcome too and board safely up the rear ramp on our wheelchair accessible vehicle. If you need a higher level of assistance, let us know when booking and we will talk through your options.

Our rear ramp is 34 inches wide and supports up to 600 pounds, rider and wheelchair combined. Most standard, transport, and powered chairs fit comfortably within that. The weight of a chair is usually printed on a label on the frame, and the width is the measurement across the outside of the wheels. If you think your chair may be over either limit, call us before you book and we will talk through the options.

Yes, and this is something most transportation companies will not do. If you need someone to wait with you, sit inside during your appointment, or help with things like signing in and paperwork, just ask when you book. As long as we have the availability for your date and time, we are happy to stay by your side. This is especially helpful for riders who get anxious in waiting rooms or need an extra hand.

Yes. Walkers and foldable wheelchairs ride in the trunk and are welcome on every trip. Portable oxygen and other personal medical equipment can come along too. Riders are responsible for managing their own equipment, so just tell us what you are bringing when you book and we will make sure there is room.

Most of our riders travel by themselves. If a trip could be shared with another rider heading the same direction, we will always call and ask you first. If you are not comfortable riding with another passenger, that is completely fine and your ride stays private. You will never be surprised by a shared ride.

We call or text you 15 to 20 minutes before every pickup so you have time to get ready and are never left wondering. If you ever have a question about your ride, call us directly and a real person will answer.

Your safety comes first. If severe weather affects your trip, we will contact you as early as possible to adjust your pickup time or reschedule. If you are ever unsure, give us a call before your pickup time.

For Facilities & Partners

Yes. We partner with care facilities, rehab centers, dialysis clinics, and transportation brokers across Middle Tennessee. Rates and terms are negotiable and confirmed in writing by email, so your team knows exactly what to expect. We send invoices every Monday with payment due within 30 days, and we accept checks, direct invoicing, and card payments with a processing fee.

Safety & Trust

Yes. Our team is HIPAA trained and committed to treating every rider with dignity, patience, and respect. We are a family owned company, and we treat your loved ones the way we would want ours treated.
